Brandon S. Craig, Attorney
Brandon S. Craig grew up in Sebring, Florida. He is married and has two sons. He received his B.S. degree in 2007 from the University of Florida, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010. After graduating from law school, Mr. Craig practiced law for two years before teaming up with Clifford M. Ables, III. In 2014, Clifford M. Ables, III and Brandon S. Craig formed Ables & Craig, P.A. In 2014, Mr. Craig became managing partner of Ables & Craig, P.A.
Mr. Craig is actively involved within the community as he is a member of the Wauchula Kiwanis, is active with the Highlands County Bar Association, is a member of the Florida Bar Association, and a member of the Real Property Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.
Mr. Craig works in the Sebring (Highlands County) and Wauchula (Hardee County) offices, and his practice includes commercial transactions and real estate transactions, probate, estate planning, landlord/tenant law, banking law, contract law, corporate and business law.
Clifford M. Ables, III, Attorney
Clifford M. Ables, III, was born February 19, 1943, in Seneca, South Carolina, but grew up in Sanford, Seminole County, Florida. He is married and has two adult sons. He received his B.A. degree in 1966 from Stetson University, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, in 1974. After graduating from law school, Mr. Ables was an Assistant Public Defender responsible for Highlands County for approximately 18 months. In 1975, Jonathan H. “Jack” Hancock and he formed Hancock and Ables, P.A. In 1981 he became a sole practitioner. In 2014, Brandon S. Craig and he formed Ables & Craig, P.A.
Mr. Ables is actively involved within the community and is a member of the Wauchula Kiwanis Club, the American Diabetes Association, the Florida Diabetes Association, and is a member, Sunday School teacher and Deacon at Whispering Pines Baptist Church, Sebring, Florida. In the past, Mr. Ables has been a member of the Sebring Kiwanis Club, Sebring Utilities Commission, and the Florida Governor’s Diabetes Advisory Council.
Mr. Ables maintains offices in Sebring (Highlands County) and in Wauchula (Hardee County), and his practice includes public housing, government law, banking law, contract law, corporate and business law, commercial transactions and real estate transactions, estate planning, probate, and guardianship law.
Anthony L. Ritenour, Attorney
Former County Judge Anthony L. Ritenour of Highlands County, was born November 18, 1968, in Avon Park, Florida and graduated from Sebring High School in 1986. Mr. Ritenour began his higher education at South Florida Community College (now South Florida State College) before completing his B.S. Degree at Liberty University in 1991. Upon earning his J.D. degree at Stetson College of Law in 1994, Mr. Ritenour was admitted into the Florida Bar in April of 1995. Following his Bar admittance, Mr. Ritenour served as an Associate Attorney with William B. Fletcher, P.A. from 1995-1998, before becoming a part of his own firm, Ables & Ritenour, P.A. in 1998, and simultaneously serving as the Wauchula Police Department Attorney from 2003-2006. Mr. Ritenour was honorably appointed to the bench by former Governor Jeb Bush in 2006, and he served with distinction and integrity for 20 years, as the Highlands County Judge.
Along with his impressive career history, Mr. Ritenour also enjoys broadening his horizons in his personal life. Among teaching criminal law and business classes at one of his alma maters, South Florida State College, and his beekeeping, he has also found solace and purpose in being an active member at Southside Baptist Church where he teaches Sunday school classes frequently, and serves on the praise team where he sings every Sunday. When not giving his all to his admirable chosen career path, Mr. Ritenour can be found spending time with his cherished wife and 4 children, or riding his motorcycle around Highlands County. A new chapter in his life is currently being written as Mr. Ritenour joins Ables & Craig, P.A. beginning in July of 2026.

Rhonda L. Pattillo, Legal Assistant
Rhonda has been with the firm since 2004, is a licensed title agent, and handles real estate closings, foreclosure litigation, litigation, landlord/tenant matters, and corporate matters, for both our Sebring and Wauchula offices.

Helen R. Revell, Office Manager
Helen has been with the firm since 2020, and handles bookkeeping, account reconciliation, HR matters, estate planning, corporate matters, and aids with real estate closings for both our Sebring and Wauchula offices.
